Mesa/Admin Office (Power & Main)Schedule: M-F 8-5POSITION
SUMMARYThis position works collaboratively with the Assistant
Controller and Controller by performing responsible accounting
support and administrative work in the preparation, processing,
maintenance and verification of Accounts Payable and Payroll
Processing.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Responsible for timely processing of
Accounts Payable and payment of invoices Assures that invoices
presented for payment are legitimate, correct, and properly coded.
Properly post invoices and pay them according to guidelines set by
the Controller.Process payroll bi-weekly to include time-card
management. Assist Human Resource department with any payroll
related items as needed. Resolves payroll discrepancies by
collecting and analyzing information. Maintains employee confidence
and protects payroll operations by keeping information
confidential. Prepares and submits monthly workers compensation
report.Maintains appropriate 1099 information.Create invoices for
EKGs and submit to payers for payment. Ensure all payments are
received.Properly post funds received and follow up on
discrepancies. Communicate with Assistant Controller/Controller
regarding member accounts that need additional
attention.Continually review processes and procedures for
opportunities to improve efficiency and work flow. Document and
report improvement plans to Assistant Controller. Maintain
effective and productive relationships with suppliers and internal
departments.Assisting in the company's monthly and yearly closing.
Prepare and enter journal entries.Note: The essential functions

position.QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or
GED required.Associates degree with emphasis on accounting
principles.Three years of experience in working in high volume
accounts payable and payroll processes.Appropriate combination of
education, experience in accounts payable and payroll using TCC
guidelines.Strong accounts payable and accounts receivable
knowledge.Experience balancing daily cash receipts between detailed
bank reports and a Cash Collections summary sheet (or similar
process).Experience creating journal entries related to cash
postingWorking knowledge of the general ledger and account
reconciliations.Strong general ledger, accounts payable and
accounts receivable knowledge.Basic working knowledge of how to
prepare account reconciliations.Basic working knowledge of
Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point40 wpm typingFlexible and
efficient time management and the ability to prioritize
workload.Excellent professional written and verbal
communication/interpersonal skills.Demonstrated critical thinking
ability in order to resolve problems and carry out
instructions.Ability to multi task, be self-motivated, well
organized and able to work in a highly energized team environment
while working with multiple managers.Sound analytical ability, good
judgment and strong financial focus.Ability to manage high levels
of stress satisfactorily while being congenial to employees,
managers and physicians.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor degree or
working towards a four year degree is preferred.Relevant accounting
experience in the healthcare industry preferred.In addition to
