At Desert Ready Mix we are looking for a Senior Staff Accountant with great work ethic and a friendly attitude. We offer competitive wages, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Short-Term and Long-term Disability, 401k, Sick Pay, vacation Pay, and Holiday Pay.Job Responsibilities:Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.Preparing journal entries, analyses, account reconciliations, and monthly close processes.Contributing to the development and review of annual operating budgets and performance projections.Maintaining documentation for accounts payable, purchasing, treasury, and conducting internal audits.Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.Meeting processing and reporting deadlines.Responding to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with audits.Ensuring compliance with GAAP.Assisting the CFO as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.2 plus years of accounting experience.Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.Working knowledge of GAAP.Strong numeracy and analytical skills.Good problem-solving and time management skills.Highly organized and detail oriented.Benefits:Bi-Weekly payComprehensive benefits package.401kPaid Time OffPaid Holidays
