water mitigation, mold remediation, and emergency services. Our

exceptional service to our clients. Job Summary The Mitigation
Manager oversees all water mitigation, mold remediation, and
related emergency service operations. This role ensures projects
are executed efficiently, profitably, and in compliance with IICRC
standards, company procedures, and program requirements. You will
serve as the operational lead between field teams, coordinators,
estimators, and leadership, ensuring strong communication, workflow
organization, and departmental growth. Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management Lead and promote a positive team
culture across the mitigation division. Implement and enforce
departmental procedures, performance standards, and documentation
protocols. Conduct daily stand-up meetings with supervisors,
coordinators, and technicians. Attend weekly mitigation meetings to
review job statuses, metrics, and priorities. Provide training on
MICA, moisture mapping, IICRC standards, PPE, and efficiency.
Monitor job volume, labor hours, and GP% to maintain profitability.
Promote safety compliance and accountability across all job sites.
Job Flow & Production Management Respond to emergency calls and
monitor emails throughout the day. Coordinate daily schedules for
technicians and assign jobs based on scope and skill. Approve demo
and drying scopes; oversee stabilization, mitigation, and demo
schedules. Ensure proper documentation in MICA, Dash, CompanyCam,
XactAnalysis, and internal folders. Manage communication with
homeowners, tenants, and field teams. Oversee on-call and emergency
service mitigation processes. Quality Control & Compliance Perform
random jobsite inspections to ensure IICRC and company standards
are met. Verify moisture readings, demo completion, drying logs,
equipment counts, and documentation. Ensure compliance with
asbestos/lead testing and safety regulations. Provide feedback and
implement process improvements as needed. Estimating & Billing
Review and approve estimates, including large or complex projects.
Track invoices and coordinate with accounting to resolve billing
issues. Monitor estimate turnaround time for efficient job
closeouts. Reporting & Coordination Maintain departmental job
status reports with accurate notes and metrics. Coordinate with
reconstruction and accounting to ensure smooth project transitions.
Relationship Management Build strong relationships with homeowners,
HOAs, property managers, insurance adjusters, and subcontractors.
Represent Summit Restoration professionally in all external
communications. Equipment & Fleet Management Maintain
accountability for all mitigation equipment and ensure proper care.
Manage equipment servicing, decommissioning, and new orders. Ensure
team members are trained on equipment operation. Software & Systems
Proficient in Dash, MICA, CompanyCam, Xactimate, XactAnalysis,
Docusketch, Geotab, Outlook, TPA Systems, and Vendor Portals.
Manage software training and routine refreshers for team members.
HR & Employee Development Support employee growth through
education, certifications, and coaching. Manage hiring,
disciplinary actions, and terminations with upper management as
needed. Review weekly technician payroll and job costing. Key
Performance Indicators (KPIs) Department GP% (Target: 85–95%) Job
completion within scope and timeline Documentation accuracy and
completion rate Average job closeout turnaround time Employee
retention and training compliance Customer satisfaction and
callback rate Requirements: 5 years in mitigation, restoration, or
construction management Strong leadership, organizational, and
communication skills IICRC certifications preferred Proficient in
restoration software and reporting tools
