Job Description La Mesita is a true community, giving parents, children, and individuals a consistent, local support network to rely on. La Mesita Apartments are a long-term solution for low-income families to have a safe place to call home. These 110 apartment units range from modest studios to four-bedrooms suitable for a family. La Mesita offers incredible access to community resources, from educational classes on financial wellness and parenting, to workforce services that assist residents in finding meaningful careers. These resources, and other support services, help households find stability and move forward. Pay: $17.50 Schedule: Monday- Friday 8 hour shift OR Tuesday- Friday 10 hour shift Location: Mesa, AZ Primary Responsibilities: -- Support housing stability through case management activity to residents/ clients; establish and maintain files. -- Provide ongoing, active outreach and creative engagement to residents. -- Work with the property management company to assist with move-ins and exits as needed. Strive to ensure compliance with all contracts, follow best practices, and meet residents--- needs. -- Perform intakes and required assessments for potential residents (as relevant to program/resident needs and funders). Assist with obtaining basic needs such as food, clothing, hygiene, and transportation. -- Develop and monitor the implementation of strength-based case plans and progress towards goals. -- Assist residents in obtaining community services/ benefits and securing appointments for outside services as needed; including, identification of funding sources and linkages to other agencies/services. -- Provide educational information as needed to assist residents in reaching goals. -- Work with residents and property management to coordinate eviction prevention efforts and develop housing permanency/ stability plans. -- Assist residents with conflict resolution among residents and guests. Provide crisis intervention as needed. -- Assist residents in developing basic life skills including residents rights and responsibilities and maintaining an apartment. -- Drive personal vehicle to conduct program business. Qualifications: -- High School diploma or GED required. -- Associate or Bachelor---s degree, preferred. -- Two years recent behavioral health experience or related field required. -- Knowledge of community resources.
