- Master’s degree Description: Schedule is 7:45 AM - 3:45 PM daily,
Monday through Thursday. A 30-minute lunch break is included. On
Fridays, students leave early, and the schedule will be 7:45 AM -
1:15 PM. Total hours weekly would be 37.5. The Speech Language
Pathologist is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and
providing direct intervention to students with speech, voice,
fluency, and language disorders. Collaboration with teachers,
parents, and other related service providers is essential for
effective student therapy. Duties include: Developing a variety of
speech and language treatment plans. Administering and screening
speech and language assessments. Screening, evaluating, and writing
comprehensive reports on evaluated students. Assisting in the
development of individual education programs (IEP). Consulting and
participating in the multi-disciplinary evaluation team. Providing
direct therapy and instruction to students. Developing various
therapy and instructional strategies. Consulting with staff and
parents regarding students' speech and language needs.
Participating in continuing education courses and workshops.
Participating in Medicaid in Public Schools as directed. The
position may require performing some additional duties as
