Job Description Job Description Refrigeration Start-Up / Commissioning Technician About the Role: G&R Professional Services is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Start-Up Technician to join our commissioning team. The first assignment will involve commissioning reports for large-scale retail and grocery projects. This role is ideal for technicians with strong technical skills who take pride in quality work and detailed documentation. Key Responsibilities: Start up and verify commercial refrigeration systems (racks, cases, condensers, controls). Document commissioning data and system performance for project reports. Assist with EMS/controls integration and troubleshooting. Ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards. Communicate findings with project managers and GCs. Travel to sites as required. Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of commercial refrigeration service/start-up experience (supermarket/grocery preferred). Knowledge of rack refrigeration systems and EMS controls. EPA Certification (Type II or Universal). Ability to read wiring diagrams and construction drawings.
