Data Management (CMDM) organization is responsible for ensuring our
products are under configuration control and delivered on time. The
CMDM Organization consists of multiple disciplines that support
engineering, our program offices, and our customers. The Effectors
Configuration Management department is looking for an individual to
perform the role of Principal Configuration Analyst. This position
is Onsite in Tucson, Arizona. What You Will Do Lead Configuration
Verification Activities: Oversee execution of CM processes,
including identification, control, verification, and status
accounting for systems and equipment, with a focus on ensuring
accurate configuration data through tools like PDM and the Common
As Built System (CABS). Utilize PDM, PRISM and CABS for
Configuration Accuracy: Leverage PRISM to manage program data and
CABS to validate as-built configurations against design baselines
in PDM, ensuring alignment with organizational and contractual
requirements. This includes conducting detailed comparisons,
identifying discrepancies, an ensuring that all changes are
accurately reflected in the product configuration throughout the
lifecycle. Mentorship and Cross-Functional Guidance: Provide
mentorship and guidance to CM team members while driving
cross-functional alignment and implementing best practices across
programs. Engineering Change Coordination: Review and analyze
released engineering change data, validating incorporation into
manufacturing work instructions, and coordinating updates between
engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and data control
teams, ensuring seamless integration into PRISM and CABS. Audit and
Compliance Assurance: Conduct and/or lead configuration audits,
resolve data discrepancies, and ensure compliance with CM plans,
command media, and contractual obligations. Baseline Management and
Data Integrity: Establish and maintain product baselines while
ensuring data accuracy across systems like PRISM and CABS
throughout the product lifecycle. Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires A University Degree and a minimum of 5 years of
professional experience OR in lieu of a degree 9 years of
professional experience in Configuration Management, Configuration
Verification, or Quality Assurance experience. Experience with
databases (SAP, ERP, PDM, CABS, PRISM, and/or other related
databases). Experience with MSOffice (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Qualifications We Prefer Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science
degree in Business Management, Operations Management, or a related
discipline. General knowledge and understanding of configuration
management principles using configuration management policies,
procedures, and tools Strong interpersonal skills with the ability
to collaborate with various engineering disciplines to ensure data
integrity and compliance with configuration management policies
Ability to identify potential complex problems associated with
technical engineering data, regarding configuration management
issues, and take corrective action as needed Comprehensive
knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOM) structures, including the
ability to create, interpret, and manage multi-level BOMs.
Proficiency in utilizing BOMs for production planning, inventory
control, and engineering design changes. Experience with BOM
management in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems or product
lifecycle management (PLM) tools in preferred, along with an
understanding of how BOMs integrate with supply chain and the

essential to the development of our products. As part of our

role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a
good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX
