SUMMARYThe Director of Law Enforcement Sales is responsible for sales, market expansion and revenues to the Law Enforcement helicopter market segment. Responsible for coordination and development, in conjunction with the Vice President of Business Development and Director, Sales & Law Enforcement all customer sales activity within the Law Enforcement marketplace. This position is based in Mesa, Arizona.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.* Develop customer contacts within the global helicopter marketplace* Develop sales strategies and comprehensive marketing plans to support sales expansion in the market segment.* Primary point of contact with customers, sales leads and operators for the Law Enforcement market.* Coordinate with customer through the entire sales process as well as follow-up post sale with the customer.* Coordinate all sales and support activities of the market segment.* Develop and implement strategic sales plans to develop and expand market penetration in conjunction with corporate goals.* Direct sales forecasting activities to meet performance and revenue goals.* Review market analysis to determine customer requirements, price points, and discount rates.* Directs channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, sales quotas, and goals.* Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.* Recommend budget, capital and marketing expenditures, and appropriation for research and development work.* Conducts product demonstrations and supervises trade show activities in domestic and international locations where approved as part of comprehensive marketing plan and budget.* Clarify goals with the CCO to develop direction and market strategies for new business capture.* Provide Market analysis to executive team for new business development.* Provide weekly and quarterly reports to CCO for sales efforts and opportunities.* Assist local teams with customer visits to MD Helicopters facilities.* Establishes and maintains relationships with strategic partners.* Meets with key distributors, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.* Coordinates between sales department and other sales related units.* Other duties may be assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNoneQualificationsSKILLS AND ABILITIES* Knowledge of the helicopter law enforcement segment is required.* Previous experience with helicopter or aircraft procurement process is preferred.* Helicopter operational experience preferred.* Demonstrated in-depth sales and marketing techniques and financial principles required.* Technical knowledge of the single and twin engine helicopter is preferred. Other aviation experience is also a plus.* Ability to build complex financial/operational models in support of business plans.* Must be able to determine cash flows, P&L impacts and use financial functions to include, but not limited to ROI and IRR.* Advanced Excel and Access database system and PowerPoint experience required* Strong interpersonal skills - creative thinker with exemplary written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate orally or in written form with both co-management and internal/external customers and regulatory representatives is required* Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of complex variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.* Ability to multi task and prioritize workload within department* Ability to successfully coordinate efforts of staff outside of individual's span of authority.* Up to fifty (50%) travel required with significant customer interface* The ability to understand and follow instructions and the ability to concentrate is required* Excellent written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills.* The ability to get along with others or to be part of a team.* Access to Export Control Information.* Regular attendance at the worksite.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE* Bachelor's degree (B.
