Position Overview Verra Mobility is looking for an experienced Director, Talent Operations and Employee Experience who will enable, facilitate and evolve the company's efforts to be a performance-driven culture by working closely with business leaders and HR partners to identify needs and then create and implement strategies that promote the development of talent throughout the organization. This role designs, develops, implements, facilitates and monitors process, tools and HRIS operations for company-wide programs such as the creation of competencies, performance management, development planning, leadership/executive development, talent reviews, talent calibrations and succession planning within a values-based organization. This role also leads and manages internal communications and the employee experience. Essential Responsibilities

  • Partner across the organization with leadership to design, develop, and implement programs such as performance management, leadership development, talent reviews, mentoring, and succession planning
  • Oversee the strategy and implementation of Talent Development program infrastructure to support company roadmap and ensure organizational effectiveness, including business rhythms, process and procedures
  • Manage the organization's Talent Review activities, including system implementation and operation, and ensuring development is thoughtfully considered and appropriate action is taken and documented systematically
  • Manage Succession Planning activities in the organization to ensure business continuity and to build the quality and depth of leadership both through programmatic and system implementation and activation
  • Lead efforts to build strong bench of leadership talent at all levels including the identification and development of high potential employees and overseeing the administration and evaluation of both assessments and related development activities for executives
  • Partner and collaborate with business leaders at all levels (from front line to executives) to tailor performance development and talent acceleration strategies that support strategic business objectives and provide meaningful growth to all team members
  • Develop and or modify/redesign plans, systems, tools, processes and procedures that maximize the efficiency, effectiveness, and impact of the Performance Management process while reinforcing behaviors necessary for the growth and development of team members. Processes include, but are not limited to: Quarterly Goal Setting, annual Performance Management Process and Mid-Year Performance Check-in, Continuous Feedback and Performance Improvement Plan design/tracking through management of the HRIS function
  • Identify and manage vendor relationships to ensure delivery and implementation of services that meet business needs including the global HRIS
  • Serve as a talent management Subject Matter Expert (SME) and proactively stays current with industry trends to identify new and different ways of developing and accelerating talent
  • Develop and/or identify programs to establish continuous leadership development, potentially including solutions such as 360-Degree feedback, mentoring, targeted development programming, and on-demand learning and resources
  • Manage efforts to select and groom future leaders through high-potential and management identification programs, individual development planning practices, and aspiring leader and trainee programs
  • Partner with Internal Communications to plan and execute marketing and communication to educate employees on self-service resources
  • Lead change management and communication efforts for company projects and initiatives, including creating and implementing strategy and content for employee communications
  • Build strong internal relationships and work cross-functionally to measure the effectiveness of Talent Development programs. Create revised solutions based on leadership feedback
  • Utilize Talent Development data to provide analysis and recommendations to senior leadership to enhance employee experience and improve business outcomes
  • Manage organizational efforts to measure and positively influence employee engagement
  • Lead company-wide engagement and organizational health activities including formal and informal feedback gathering, action planning, recognition, and analytics of overall trends. Qualifications
    • BA/BS degree required, MBA or Master's degree preferred
    • Minimum 7 years leading talent development, performance management, employee engagement, executive development & succession planning function within large enterprise level organization required
    • Minimum 2 years leading HRIS functions
    • Previous experience in designing and implementing talent management initiatives.
    • Computer proficiency with advanced skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point required
    • Comprehensive & expansive knowledge of talent management processes, tools and technology
    • Ability to collect, assimilate, and analyze data and present concise results
    • Strong propensity for action, results and continuous improvement
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation to executive leadership
    • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects at once, and lead cross-functional teams
    • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ever-changing business environment with flexibility & adaptability Key Competencies
