We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join our lean and agile team in our Mesa, Arizona facility, located at 7943, East Ray Rd. Suite #129, Mesa, AZ 85212. This role reports to the Sr. Quality Manager. The Quality Assurance Manager will be key to driving FMEA and DVP&R with our design engineering and manufacturing engineering teams, ensuring the robustness of products from concept to manufacturing. The QA manager will also be responsible for leading the deployment and maintenance of the QMS within the organization at our various locations in North America.

General Responsibilities
Work with design engineering to develop a robust process to plan and execute DFMEAs on systems and components as well as the entire vehicle
Support DVP&R activities and ensure planning, budgeting, and completion to plan
Support manufacturing teams in deploying and maintaining PFMEAs
Support product launch activities needed as an input to the product development process
Support Quality Engineers in ensuring component and system suppliers are maintaining PFMEAS, Control plans and supplier internal QMS systems
Ensure that the change management processes are adapted to account for changes to FMEAs as needed
Lead the deployment of the Quality Managements system at EMV
Plan for certification to ISO9001 and IATF16949 as per current schedule
Plan trial phases, develop quality targets, within product development phase
Lead a team of motivated individuals to help them achieve success
Assess the voice of the customer and feed this into the QMS as well as new product development

Team Management
Manage, mentor and develop a team of engineers providing leadership and guidance
Establish a level of accountability within the team, through empowering and establishing clear responsibilities
Displays dedication, time management, cadence and effectively elevates the team when needed
Assists with recruiting and building an effective quality team
Other Duties
Perform other duties as required by management.
Travel : Occasional International and domestic travel
Working Conditions
Required to work in an assembly / manufacturing setting.
Required to wear proper PPE to work in a high-level noise environment.
Required to lift and move up to 75 pounds.

Requirements
Expert knowledge with FMEA/DVP&R
10+ years automotive experience
Product launch experience
Certified Reliability Engineer, Certified Quality Engineer, Six Sigma Blackbelt or equivalent
Expert knowledge of Quality tools and methods for design and manufacturing
Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience
Expert knowledge of Quality Management system - ISO 9001 & IATF 16949
Excellent project management skills
Excellent problem-solving skills- 8D/A3 problem solving
Experience in a fast-paced work environment requiring critical analysis.
Strong organizational skills
Strong technology mindset.
Strong leadership skills
Self-starter with strong work ethic and the ability to exercise good judgment.
Excellent Verbal & Written communication skills.
Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
Available to work a flexible schedule including overtime.
