To learn more, go to www.mind24-7.com. DescriptionThe Nurse Manager is responsible for the coordination and management of Nursing Services. Individual will be accountable for the daily nursing operations for assigned area. Focus is on directing all services provided by nursing. This includes coordination of care, clinical efficiency, quality, patient satisfaction, employee engagement and resource management. In collaboration with the physicians, medical director, and other key stakeholders, establish service line strategic goals aligned with the organizational strategic plan. Responsible for implementation of service-wide changes across departmental lines. Utilizes performance excellence as the process to manage day to day clinical operations. Essential Job Functions: o Responsible for the overall quality of care provided by nursing and patient care coordinator personnel. o Plans, organizes, and directs all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating and continuing education initiatives. o Manage the daily clinical operations of nursing. o Collaborates with clinical leadership team, interdisciplinary treatment teams, and site administration to ensure that all patients' physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental and cultural needs are met o Directs clinical activities, including patient assessment, care plan development, service level determination, patient visits, and complaint management. o Schedules staff, manages time and attendance, and conducts employee performance reviews. o Integrate nursing functions with clinical and programs, ensuring efficient and effective operations. o Provide leadership to assure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as nursing practice standards. Recognizes that patient safety is a top priority. o Manages budget(s) and ensures that assigned nursing area operates within allocated funds. Coordinates and directs internal and externally driven audits. o Develop and implement health care related training that assures the best possible delivery of health-related supports and services. Review training at least annually and makes modifications as needed. o Intervene in crisis situations and investigate incidents. o Oversee nursing service documentation to ensure it meets all standards. o Assist with direct care as needed o Performs other duties as assigned PM21POSITION REQUIREMENTS SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES --- Direct Reports: o Charge Nurse o Registered Nurse o Licensed Practical Nurse P0SITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Qualifications: o Graduated from an accredited Nursing program with Registered Professional Nurse licensure by the state Board of Nursing. o Unrestricted license as Registered Professional Nurse through the state Board of Nursing. o At least 3 years of psychiatric, behavioral health, or relevant experience. o At least 1 year of supervisory experience o Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card Preferred Qualifications: o 5+ years nursing supervisory experience in psychiatric or behavior health o Previous crisis care or emergency room experience o Previous experience with state specific court ordered services o Bachelor's Degree in NursingTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS EOE STATEMENT We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
