Charter One works with schools across the country to provide all-inclusive education management services. We handle the day-to-day work so that client school boards can focus on governance and policy issues to be sure that the vision and mission of the school are being carried out properly.
Charter One is currently seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to join our growing marketing team! A minimum of 5 years of Social Media experience is preferred. This full-time position is located at our office in Mesa, Arizona, and will be responsible for creating social media content and strategies, community management, and managing social media accounts across multiple platforms.--
We are looking for a qualified, professional, and ambitious individual to help us manage and grow client social media campaigns, including paid advertising on Facebook and other platforms. Our team and client base are rapidly growing, so we are looking for a team player with a positive, can-do attitude who is ready to jump in and work collaboratively to elevate our social media strategies and tactics.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
--- Drives strategy, creation, and execution of engaging social media content for internal and external stakeholders across multiple digital platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more.----- Collaborates with the marketing team on the planning and execution of campaigns and strategies.----- Monitors public and media opinion of Charter One, its clients, and employees. Supports positive brand and reputation management efforts for all stakeholder groups.----- Leads copywriting and editing efforts for social media content.--- Collaborates with director on paid and organic social media placements.----- Supports the planning and execution of marketing and public relations events for Charter One and its clients, including but not limited to groundbreaking events, open house events, and information sessions.----- Generates, edits, publishes and shares daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to act.--- Sets up, optimizes, and manages company and school pages within each platform to increase the visibility of social content.----- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.----- Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, and SEO.----- Knowledge of online marketing and a basic understanding of major marketing channels.----- Assists with multiple projects assigned by director and leadership and works independently in a detail-oriented, fast-paced, fun, innovative, and deadline-driven environment.--
Required Skills/Abilities:--
--- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.----- Ability to collect and interpret feedback, execute on vision, and collaborate closely with marketing team members.----- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities.----- Problem solver with a positive can-do attitude.----- Ability to work independently.----- Collaborative team player and self-starter.----- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google email.----- Proven experience in social media marketing or as a digital media manager is a must.----- Experience boosting and creating paid Facebook ads in Ads Manager.----- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.----- Proficiency with Social Sprout software or a similar software tool----
Preferred Skills/Abilities:
--- Experience with email marketing, preferably using Constant Contact.----- Proficient in Wrike project management software.----- Experience with project and client management.----- Previous advertising agency experience is a plus.----- Photo and video editing skills a plus.----- Basic Canva skills a plus.--
Education and Experience:----- Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or related field preferred.----- At least five years of social media management experience preferred.--
