The Boeing Company is seeking a Continuous Improvement Project
Manager Specialist to join the Office of Continuous Improvement in
the Engineering, Test, and Technology (ET&T) organization
within Boeing's Enterprise Software Systems Engineering,
Integration and Test (SEIT) organization, which is leading an
Enterprise level effort to revolutionize software development
processes and products at Boeing. This position is virtual and can
be worked anywhere within the US.
As a member of the Continuous Improvement team, you will manage
governance boards for Software Engineering Risks, Issues, and
Opportunities (RIO) and Software Safety. You will be responsible
for scheduling and managing these governance boards, capturing
risks/issues/opportunities, and identifying Continuous
Improvements. In addition you will manage the execution of various
Continuous Improvement projects across the Software Engineering
org, improving the developer experience and driving culture change.
This position will place you in a role where you have the
opportunity to make significant impact on software teams across
Assists in the development and integration of programs, plans,
strategies and processes to meet business goals for authorization,
such as sourcing strategy for commitment of work, cost imperatives,
deployment analysis and impact mitigation.
Supports the coordination and clarifies the analysis with business
partners to validate results and determine scope to meet long range
business goals and develop business case.
Supports the coordination of the commitments with internal and
external organizations to fulfill strategies.
Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation
planning and refines the business case.
Meets with leadership to gain approval.
Collects, organizes and provides data according to established
processes within the management system to maintain status of
programs, customer and supplier commitments and compliance.
Ensures follow up action for issue resolution.
This position has been identified as a virtual opportunity and does

requires up to 10% travel.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in Project Management
3+ years of experience with RIO in project planning
3+ years of experience in building & presenting plans and
communicating to executive leadership
3+ years of experience collecting data, developing metrics, and
conducting trend analysis
3+ years of experience designing organizational management systems
and operating rhythms
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Experience with Program Management Best Practices (PMBP)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education
(e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work
experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
(e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related
work experience, etc.)
