Stapley Drive, Mesa, AZChick-fil-A Stapley Drive in Mesa, AZ has an
opportunity for a Full-Time Kitchen Manager at our high-volume
restaurant. We are seeking high caliber kitchen leaders with a
solid track record to lead our night kitchen operations. This is a
role with potential for future growth.A few things about
Chick-fil-A:
- We average more in sales than any other quick-service
restaurant, while remaining closed on Sundays.
- We are the largest quick-service restaurant in the Chicken
category and in the top 3 for the Quick-Service category.

- We hand-bread each piece of chicken just before it is cooked
and served to our guests.
- The ingredients in our salads are chopped every day, and each
salad is served within 6 hours of preparation.

Supervisor, Shift Manager, or another similar position is
required.Pay Type: Starting at $20/hr

- Experience as a leader, preferably in a restaurant kitchen
environment
- Basic computer and Ipad competency including Word and
Excel
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position which
includes, but is not limited to, the ability to reach, bend, stoop,
stand for up to 10 hours and lift up to 50 pounds
- Effective and clear communication skills (Bilingual
English/Spanish is preferred)
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of
time
- Ability to work at a fast pace, while maintaining efficiency
and thoroughness

- Detail-oriented and keenly observantResponsibilities:
- Lead a team of up to 20 team members
- Develop and coach in a respectful, people-first manner
- Understand how to balance results with relationships
- Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and
served according to the restaurant's recipes, portion requirements,
and serving standards
- Fill positions where needed to ensure guest service standards
are met and operations are run efficiently
- Ensure all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working
condition through personal inspection and by following the
restaurant's preventative maintenance programs
- Control food cost and usage by following proper requisition of
products from storage areas, managing product storage procedures,
and following standard recipes and waste control procedures
- Oversee and ensure that restaurant policies on employee
performance appraisals are followed and completed on a timely
basis
- Monitor and review compliance with employee break policies
- Oversee the training of kitchen personnel in safe operation of
all kitchen equipment and utensils
- Oversee the training of kitchen personnel in cleanliness and
sanitation practices
- Maintain appropriate cleaning schedules for kitchen area
- Monitor and maintain proper food holding and refrigeration
temperature control points
- Monitor and implement seasonal menu changes
- Communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and front of house
personnel, and guests
