Full Job Description Position The office manager role reports to the Business Owners. The position requires ability to learn our business systems and processes. Attention to detail in work such as bookkeeping, order processing, filing and other administrative roles. Ideal Candidate Bookkeeping or Accounting experience. Office management experience Typing and secretarial skills Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills Demonstrate a reliable, responsive, and on-time work ethic This individual must be ambitious and possess a competent/cooperative demeanor as a representative of the Company. Freight management Company Info Aggregate Machinery Specialist is a family run business operating in the mining industry with focus on building materials. We have been in business since 1986 and continue to excel in customer service and reputation. Desirable Traits Experience with bookkeeping, specifically accounts payable, accounts receivable, and order entry Competent and polite in other external facing communication. Maintain corporate records, contracts, employee documents, and other documentation as needed. Perform related duties as assigned. Small business operation Maintain punctual and consistent attendance. Meet schedules and timelines for projects Understand and follow oral and written instructions. Work cooperatively and collaboratively with other team members and owners, vendors and suppliers, and other professionals when needed; work independently when needed and with direct supervision. Demonstrate and possess a high degree of integrity. Positive attitude Organized Working Conditions and Physical Demands: Primarily indoor work environment when working at our offices; some travel may be required as needed for site visits, client meetings, trips to vendors, etc. Physical dexterity required to bend at the waist, kneeling, crouching, or reaching above the head to store, or retrieve supplies; hearing and speaking to exchange information; seeing to review reports or interact with software.
