    • Job Summary

      The Project Manager Senior will provide project management for college initiatives that oversee all college aspects. It will lead and coordinate complex projects and could serve as a designated subject matter expert for assigned projects.

      Essential Functions

      • Lead, coordinate, and serve as the designated subject matter expert for complex and sensitive projects through the full project life cycle for projects assigned through the Office of the President
      • Facilitate the development of project scope with stakeholders and identify objectives/deliverables, milestones, schedules, and overall plan manage across teams to ensure project completion
      • Determine project methodology (predictive, agile, adaptive, etc.) and execute project plans
      • Monitor project activities, risks, budget, and quality
      • Convene/facilitate meetings
      • Create and maintain all project documentation and provide project status updates/reports to leadership
      • Develop and monitor project budgets and related expenditures
      • Monitor, track and report on project deliverables, quality standards and performance measures
      • Ensure projects are accomplished in accordance with established specifications and funding requirements
      • Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors, contractors and other project stakeholders
      • Address project issues and risk scenarios; provide recommended solutions
      • Compose, review and finalize original comprehensive and complex reports and documents
        • Develop and deliver communications, training materials and/or presentations
        • Provide support for other projects in progress, as assigned
        • Evaluate data analytics reporting and collaborates with stakeholders
        • Identify funding opportunities and assist with the development of funding proposals and applications
          • Participate in the identification and development of standardized project management tools and documentation of business processes
          • Perform other duties as assigned

            Minimum Qualifications

            Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, business or public administration and four full-time equivalent years of project management coordination and experience.


            Associate's Degree from a regionally accredited institution and six full-time equivalent years of project management coordination and experience.


            High School Diploma/GED and eight full-time equivalent years of project management coordination and experience.

            Desired Qualifications
          • Four (4) or more years of project management experience
          • Experience in managing complex, high-profile projects with multiple diverse stakeholders groups
          • Experience with tracking and managing higher education projects
          • Familiarity with Project Management Software/Tools
          • PMP or equivalent Project Management certification
