DescriptionThe Registered Nurse (RN) position will deliver care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. The RN will collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Nurses effectively interact with patient, while maintaining the standard of professional nursing. Essential Job Functions of the Registered Nurse:

  • Assess patients and documents pertinent information, completing physical and mental health assessments
  • Performs medication administration as per facility protocol. Accurately record all medication as administered
  • Assesses, documents, and reports behavioral and medical changes
  • Participates in patient treatment planning as part of the multi-disciplinary clinical team
  • Educates patients on diagnosis, treatment, and medications
  • Uses verbal de-escalation and therapeutic interventions to de-escalate patients that are potentially dangerous
  • Can describe and demonstrate thorough knowledge of seclusion and restraint standards and guidelines, including documentation of seclusion and restraint incidents, as required
  • Can describe and demonstrate thorough knowledge of SafeClinch standards and guidelines, as required
  • Records all care provided concisely, accurately, and completely, in a timely manner, as per the facility protocol
  • Draw labs and provide wound care as ordered
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Depending on setting, may also float among various clinical services within the market, where qualified and competentSupervisory Responsibilities: None Work Environment:
    • Days, nights, weekends, and holidays
    • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers
    • Travel to company subsidiaries may be necessary within a specific marketPM21POSITION REQUIREMENTS Minimum Qualifications:
      • Graduated from an accredited Nursing program with Registered Professional Nurse licensure by the state Board of Nursing.
      • Unrestricted license as Registered Professional Nurse through the state Board of Nursing.
      • At least 1 year of psychiatric, behavioral health, or relevant experience. o Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card Preferred Qualifications:
        • Previous crisis care or emergency room experience
        • Previous experience with state specific court ordered services
        • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Physical Demands:
          • Required to stand
          • Required to walk.
          • Occasionally required to sit.
          • Required to use hands.
          • Continually required to talk or hear.
          • Must be able to lift or push at least 50 lbs.
