WILL FLOAT TO PCU AS NEEDED A dysrhythmia exam is required prior to start (2 max attempts) and a pass/fail Sim Lab is required on Day 1 of orientation (study guides provided with first day instructions). - Unit: ICU - # beds: 4 - Certs: ACLS/BLS - Ratios: 2 - EMR: EVIDENT - Charge Nurse: YES - Nurse Aides: Day shift yes - Weekend Requirement: Required to work weekends in rotation with core staff - Holidays: 1 major/1 minor - Scrub Color: Royal Blue - Tele: Yes - Vents: No - Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: No - IV Team: No - RT 24/7: Yes - Pharmacy 24/7: Yes... in-house 6a-10p M-F; 8-8 weekend; after hours remote pharmacy off site - Shifts: 7a-7p; 7p-7a - Floating: Yes - Floor specific orientation: Yes - Common diagnosis / Types of patients: ICU- DKA, Hypotension, pressors, vents, bipaps. Do not have a cath lab or MRI or neuro services presently - Additional Notes: No phlebotomy nurses will draw all labs, no cafeteria at night, tele patients are monitored by staff at the nurses stations-----"no central monitoring room.Quality Nurses Job ID #d376026.
