Licensed Clinical Social Worker LCSW for Luke Air Force Base, 56th MDG7219 North Litchfield Road, Luke Air Force Base, Arizona 85309

• Civilian Contractor, full-time
• M-F; 7:30am-4:30pmLCSW provides the following outpatient services for active-duty military, retirees, and their families:
  • Individual Therapy
  • Group Therapy
  • Crisis Intervention
  • Consultation for Mental Health related questions
  • Deployment/PCS/TDY Clearances
  • Special Duty Clearances
  • Command Directed Evaluations
  • Disaster Mental Health ResponseRequirements:Degree/Education: Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from an accredited school of social work.License: Current, unrestricted independent license as an LCSW or LISW in any stateExperience:
    • Have a minimum of three (3) years in the independent practice of clinical social work in a mental health setting working with an adult populationDuties:
      • Conduct psychosocial assessments and provide psychosocial treatment to a wide variety of individuals from various socio-economic, cultural, ethnic, educational, and other diversified backgrounds.
      • Provide counseling and psychotherapy services to individuals, groups, and families
      • Provide consultation services to other staff about the psychosocial needs of patients and the impact of psychosocial problems on health care and compliance with treatment.
      • Use of medical and mental health diagnoses, disabilities and treatment procedures. This includes acute, chronic and traumatic illness/injuries, common medications and their effects/side effects, and medical terminology.
      • Implement treatment modalities in working with individuals, families and groups who are experiencing a variety of psychiatric, medical and social problems to achieve treatment goals.MDPerm is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
