As an inpatient-only OB hospitalist, you ll focus exclusively on labor & delivery, obstetric emergencies, and inpatient gynecologic care with no outpatient clinic responsibilities. Role Overview We re hiring a full-time OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our Gilbert-based team. You'll help ensure round-the-clock OB/GYN coverage in a high-volume, MFM-supported setting. This is a hands-on clinical role designed for physicians who want to focus on delivery, surgery, and acute care without the administrative load of outpatient practice. Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Managing labor & delivery and high-risk antepartum/postpartum care
  • Leading response to OB/GYN emergencies, including unassigned patient cases
  • Assisting community physicians with consults, deliveries, and surgeries
  • Supporting the ED and inpatient teams with timely OB/GYN consults
  • Participating in department safety initiatives, peer reviews, and CME events
  • Ensuring thorough documentation and seamless patient hand-offs
  • Actively contributing to team meetings and continuous quality improvement efforts Qualifications:
    • MD or DO with an active Arizona license (or eligibility to obtain)
    • Completion of a U.S.-accredited OB/GYN residency (excluding Puerto Rico)
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
    • Experience in hospitalist practice or high-risk OB settings preferred
    • Strong interpersonal, surgical, and team collaboration skills Interested in Joining Us?
