Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 12/01/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - PCU Job Details: • Work in Progressive Care Unit with varied work schedule • On call required • Weekends and holidays required • May need to float between Med Surg/PCU Baywood/Heart units • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients • Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs • Formulate and implement individualized plans of care including discharge planning • Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities • Document all nursing activities in patient records according to policy • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members • Provide patient and family education and evaluate response to teaching • Must possess current, valid RN license in state of practice • BLS certification required • Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required • Experience in acute care setting within past 12 months as Registered Nurse in specialty area • Bachelor's degree preferred • Professional certification preferred • Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to work area Facility: This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center that provides progressive care services with specialized units including Medical Surgery, Progressive Care Unit, and Heart services.
