qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Mesa, Arizona, 85212! Pay
Information $2,070 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty:
Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights, Every Other
Weekend Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2
years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Must
pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to signing contract. Travel
experience required. Must be prepared to float to sister facility.
Pass/fail testing is required on the first day for specific nursing
skills. Candidates must demonstrate competency in maintaining a
sterile field. COVID vaccine is required or a declination form with
supporting documentation. Description: This unit has a total of 46
beds. The nurse-to-patient ratio ranges from 1:4 to 1:5. Electronic
medical record system used is Cerner. Charge nurses are available
on the unit. Patient care technicians are present during day and
night shifts. Staff is required to work weekends in rotation with
core staff. Holiday work includes one major holiday and one minor
holiday per year. Scrub color is navy. Patients commonly present
with issues in telemetry and medical/surgical categories, including
neurology, cardiology, urology, orthopedic, general surgery, renal,
pulmonology, and infectious disease. The unit does not have a
catheterization lab, cardiovascular operating room, or invasive
neurology services. Phlebotomy services are limited; nursing staff
and patient care technicians will draw labs if there is a sick
call. Additional training will cover lifts, restraints, and wound
care, which are educational in nature to align with
