Banner Medical Group is actively recruiting for Pediatric Anesthesiologists for Banner Desert Medical Center (BDMC) in Mesa, AZ. Our current team includes five Pediatric Anesthesiologists with plans to expand the team significantly. Serving a growing pediatric population of 350K, Banner Childrens at Desert Medical Center is a state-of-the-art, 260 bed children's care facility. This campus includes a Level Two Pediatric Trauma Center, Level 3 NICU with 104 beds with 24/7 Neonatology support, 24 bed PICU with 24/7 Pediatric Intensivist support, and a 26 bed Pediatric ED. With more than 240 pediatric physicians on staff, Banner Children's at Banner Desert offers care in more than 27 Pediatric Subspecialties. Being the largest private employer in the state and the primary referral center for Pediatric surgeries within the Banner network, the opportunity for a busy practice is supported with our built in referral network. Work Schedule & Description: - Full-time (1.0 FTE) position - 168 rotating 10 hour shifts/year, plus home call - Post-call days off - Open to flexible schedules Qualifications: - BC/BE Fellowship trained Pediatric Anesthesiologist - Experienced providers and New Grads encouraged to apply - Experience with ultrasounds guided nerve blocks, caudal blocks, and difficult pediatric airways preferred - Ability to obtain an AZ license and DEA Main Location: Banner Children's at Desert Medical Center - 1400 S.
