Attractive compensation up to $145,000 base DOE potential performance bonuses High-visibility executive role reporting directly to the CEO and serving on the senior leadership team Build lasting leadership stability by growing and developing nursing talent internally through structured career ladders and CRRN certification pathways Lead a dedicated team in a modern 52-bed all-private-room facility with strong census (ADC ~50) and favorable nurse-to-patient ratios (7:1 days / 8:1 nights) Implement impactful processes, enforce accountability, and elevate clinical standards in a mission-driven, supportive culture Comprehensive executive benefits package including health, dental, vision, retirement savings match, generous PTO, and professional development support Opportunity to oversee critical departments (Infection Control, Respiratory, Education, Wound Care, Dialysis) and influence organization-wide quality and performance Job Details Job Details / Responsibilities: Deliver strategic executive leadership for all nursing operations, clinical quality, and patient care delivery across the facility Maintain 24-hour accountability for nursing practice, regulatory compliance, and overall clinical performance Directly manage 4 key reports while providing oversight and dotted-line leadership to RNs, RNTs, Nurse Supervisors, and multidisciplinary teams Lead and develop departments including Infection Control, Respiratory Therapy, Clinical Education, Wound Care Center, and Dialysis Establish, update, and enforce nursing policies, procedures, staffing models, and budgetary management Champion staff accountability, conduct performance evaluations, manage disciplinary processes, and foster a high-performance culture Drive internal professional growth by promoting career ladder progression and supporting staff in achieving CRRN certification Partner closely with the CEO and executive team to align nursing strategy with organizational objectives and rehabilitation-focused outcomes Ensure adherence to state regulations, accreditation requirements, and evidence-based best practices Promote continuous process improvement, patient safety, and team engagement in a collaborative leadership environment Qualifications: Current unrestricted RN license in Arizona (or ability to obtain prior to start) BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred Commitment to obtain CRRN certification within one year of becoming eligible Advanced degree in Nursing or related field (or actively pursuing), or demonstrated equivalent advanced knowledge and skills Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field required (unless superseded by state or role requirements) At least five (5) years of progressive inpatient hospital nursing experience Minimum two (2) years of recent (within the last 5 years) nursing management/leadership experience with 24-hour accountability, FTE/staff supervision, policy and procedure development, budget oversight, and disciplinary action responsibilities Proven history of stable, long-term leadership and success in team building and development Interested in hearing more?
