Encompass Health Corporation, a true leader in integrated healthcare services, is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for our Pool team. In this role, the OT will provide therapy services that meet varied patient needs across our inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, home health, and hospice care settings. The suitable candidate will tailor rehabilitation treatments to help patients regain independence after illness, injury, or surgery. This role requires flexibility, commitment to excellence, and a passion for improving patients' quality of life. Evaluate patient's functional status and occupational therapy needs, setting realistic, measurable goals to promote independence. Implement personalized intervention plans that focus on improving activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility. Document patient progress and adapt treatment plans accordingly. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and families about treatment plans and home exercises. Stay updated with best practices in occupational therapy and participate in professional development activities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficient in using therapeutic equipment and technology Ability to assess patient needs and craft individual treatment plans Knowledge of a broad range of occupational therapy techniques and approaches Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current and unrestricted Occupational Therapist license NBCOT certification as an Occupational Therapist
