Qualifications: PA-C w/RNFA Certificate required at time of application (Documentation of successful completion of surgical first assistant training as a part of curriculum in their nationally accredited physician assistant program OR attendance at a surgical first-assist training course sponsored by ACE, AORN, ANCC, or equivalent as approved by the facility Credentials Committee/Medical Executive Committee) Licensed in Arizona or eligible for licensure DEA with prescriptive authority 1 - 2 years surgical experience preferred; new graduates are also encouraged to apply Practice Details: Full-time | Monday - Friday Inpatient/Outpatient - Responsibilities include inpatient rounding, first assist in the OR, and post-op clinic Will perform robotic procedures; robotics training provided if needed Supporting two surgicalists Exposure to a busy Emergency Department, General Surgery, and Level III Trauma cases Call: 10 days of call per month, including one weekend.
