multitherapeutic research, standard of care, and VEN Centers sites
is staffed by skilled providers, research, clinic, pharmacy, and
patient outreach professionals. ALH operates state-of-the-art
facilities and programs to meet the evolving needs of clinical
research and overall patient treatment. Title: Clinic Supervisor -
Peoria Status: Full-time; Exempt, Salary Schedule: Monday-Friday,
8am-5pm Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 per year; depending on
experience (specialty, clinic volume, front & back office
preferred) Essential job functions/duties Reasonable accommodations

these essential functions. Identify patient service requirements by
establishing rapport with the patient and others. Exhibit knowledge
of growth, development, and appropriate communication. Ability to
assess, provide and interpret specific data. Promote collaboration
within the facility to improve patient access and patient outcomes
to increase the efficiency of the team. Assists with orientation
and training of new team members. Ensure patient
flowsheet/check-out sheet is completed for each patient visit.
Conduct fibroscans, in preparation for providers examination.
Implement provider orders promptly and with accuracy. Maintain
documentation of patient care services by scanning and completing
patient and department records in accordance with established
policies and procedures. Document procedures, medication, delivery
of care and pertinent information regarding care inside the EMR and
340B tracker. Assist with 340B medication prior authorization by
entering a task inside the EMR. Educate patient on medications and
directions for use. Support patients and providers in the
medication refill process. Notify patients with specialty pharmacy
information, prior authorization process and any delays in
processing order. Answer telephone calls and take messages for the
provider and/or return telephone calls to patients, documenting all
patient interaction in the patient electronic medical record.
Facilitates any patient reports and deliver's them to the provider.
Provide an effective communication link between patient and medical
staff, including relaying messages from providers, gathering
information from patients for providers. Process outgoing
referrals: send medical records and ensure "Referred To" provider
has all necessary documents to schedule patient. If required or
necessary, make appointment for the patient for diagnostic
procedures and/or with a specialist. Act as a liaison with the
providers, other medical offices, and hospitals. Cleans and
prepares rooms between procedures and restock supplies. Completes
patient care requirements by performing tests and completing other
tasks as assigned, i.e., set up rooms, place patient in room, takes
patient's vital signs, height, weight, etc. and records them in the
cart, prepares patient for examination by the provider. Keep rooms
stocked with adequate medical supplies, ensuring that all medical
supplies items are within the expire date. Assist research
department with Fibro scans for patients and maintaining training
to be delegated this task. Additional responsibilities Maintains
professional certification and technical knowledge by attending
educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; and
establishing personal networks. Performs all other related duties
as assigned or requested by the Practice Administrator.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Excellent computer skills Ability to
type at least 40 WPM Knowledge of filing and charting procedures
Ability to use calculator and office equipment. Supervisory
responsibilities Perform all required duties as outlined in the
Medical Assistant/Fibroscan Technician job description. Participate
in the interviewing of prospective employees. Assure efficient
patient flow is maintained and there is compliance with internal
procedures in conjunction with the performance of duties as
indicted in the appropriate job description for each employee.
Ensure operation of medical equipment by completing preventive
maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions;
reporting malfunctions, requesting repairs and evaluating new
equipment and techniques. Maintain medical supply inventory by
anticipating needed supplies. Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate
supplies, order necessary supplies bi-weekly. Maintain inventory of
office supplies and order bi-weekly as needed. Complete assignments
given by Providers and/or Practice Administrator. Develop and
review standard operating procedures (SOP) annually. Report any
clinical issues to Providers. Provide orientation and training of
SOC Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist. Assign work tasks, to
medical assistants, and monitor MA jellybeans for completion of
tasks. Assure coverage for MA breaks, meetings, sick and PTO days.
Monitor employees' timecards for approvals or corrections and
complete payroll on a bi-weekly basis. Education, credentials,
and/or trainings required ??High school diploma or GED from an
accredited institution? Degree/Certification in Medical Assisting
At least one (1) year experience working in a clinic setting Work
