Job Description Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN CCU - Coronary Care for a travel nursing job in Phoenix, Arizona. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CCU - Coronary Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel ICU Travel RN – Job Summary Breakdown Must-Have Requirements (Strict) - Level I Trauma experience required - Level 1 Trauma Waived – Will consider ICU RN with strong cardiac patient experience - Does NOT have to be from a CVICU floor specifically Unit Overview - Unit: CTICU / CVICU - Beds: 24 - Patient Population: Very high acuity cardiac & thoracic Common Diagnoses / Cases: - CABG recovery - Lung transplant - ECMO - CRRT - IABP - Impella - Thoracic surgery - TAVR - Esophagectomy - Lobectomy - Pneumonectomy High number of bedside procedures: - Bronchs - Swan-Ganz - Epidurals Certifications & Experience - BLS & ACLS – Required - CCRN – Preferred - ICU experience required - CVICU strongly preferred - Must have strong IV skills (No IV team) - IABP & CABG experience highly desired Unit Details - Ratios: 1:1–2 (High number of 1:1s) - Charge Nurse: Yes (no patient assignment) - PCTs: 2 on days & nights (with high census) - EMR: Cerner - Tele: Philips - RT: 24/7 - Pharmacy: 24/7 - Intensivist: In-house days, on-call nights Schedule & Requirements - Shifts: 7AM–7PM or 7PM–7AM - 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule - Holidays: Rotational - Scrub color: Navy - Floor-specific orientation: 2 days About Malone Healthcare - Nursing With a commitment to providing a higher standard of service and experience in patient care, Malone Healthcare places expert nurses and allied health professionals in rewarding careers throughout the United States.
