Merkin Vineyards Hilltop Winery & Trattoria features a full menu of freshly made breads, pastas, entrees, salads and wood-oven pizzas, along with finely crafted Arizona wines, select beers and cocktails. Also onsite is the greenhouse and bottle shop and retail space. Merkin Vineyards Pocket Park Gelateria houses our gelato production facility and walk-up window featuring seasonal gelato flavors. Experience : Two years or more of customer service experience is preferred. Compensation: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour Benefits : Medical, dental and vision insurance, employer paid life insurance, paid holidays (based on policy), paid vacation & sick leave, and paid parental leave. Days/Hours : Somewhat flexible. 20 – 40 hours per week available This job is ideal for someone who is : Has excellent customer service and people skills. Operates tram in s safe manner, following all manufacturer and operating procedures. Assist with the pre-opening inspections as required. Perform daily safety checks and logs. Start tram when in manual mode. Monitor systems during operation. Reconcile minor operating disturbances. Ensure guests are properly following all safety precautions and regulations. Ensure that tram is sent at reasonable intervals, maintaining steady guest flow and line control. Report any unusual occurrences of tram immediately to management. Assist in maintaining/cleaning the tram throughout the operating day and between guest trips. Take a lead role with evacuation of passengers in emergencies once the decision to evacuate is made by management. Performs other related duties as assigned.
