Currently hiring a Payroll Specialist to join our team! Position Overview:The Payroll Specialist is a full-time opportunity. This role will be responsible for the processing of our union payroll and will act as a back-up resource for non-union payroll and other tasks as applicable.Essential Responsibilities:* Manage the full-cycle processing of time keeping and union payroll * Process voluntary and involuntary deductions and levies * Act as a back-up for non-union payroll processing * Prepare post-payroll accounting transactions * Support financial reviews and audits as required * Manage processing and reporting of funding to third parties for payroll related items such as pension, union dues, etc. * Document and update payroll processes and procedures as needed * Identify opportunities for process improvement within the Payroll function * Performs other job-related duties as assigned Requirements: * Minimum of 2 years of experience in Payroll required * Union experience required * Strong attention to detail and organization * Able to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality * Ability to work independently * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Able to project manage **Local Candidates Only This Postion is Not Remote**
