FlexTG currently manages clients in all 50 states as well as Canada and Puerto Rico.Position SummaryThe IT Help Desk Manager for Flex Technology Groups will ensure the delivery of quality technical support for all of the companies employees and partners. They are managing support technicians and engineers to ensure day to day operations for IT and address in a timely and efficient manner.Essential Functions and Responsibilities-- Manage the IT help desk team and evaluate their performance-- Ensure customer service is timely and accurate daily-- Recruit, train, and support help desk representatives and technicians-- Set specific customer service standards-- Contribute to improving customer support by actively responding to queries and handling complaints-- Establish best practices through the entire technical support process-- Establish and maintain relationships with departments supported by the IT help desk-- Ensuring that all processes used by the IT help desk are thoroughly documented, consistently audited, and regularly improved-- Follow up with customers to identify areas of improvement-- Develop daily, weekly and monthly reports on the help desk team's productivity-- Recognize and Manage Major IT incidents from end to endQualifications and Experience-- Proven work experience as a Help desk manager-- Hands on experience with IT support roles-- Solid technical background with an ability to give instructions to a non-technical audience-- Customer-service oriented with a problem-solving attitude-- Excellent written and verbal communications skills-- Team management skills-- Understanding of IT Help Desk Key Performance IndicatorsSupervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position has supervisory responsibilitiesPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
