Job Description Job Description SUMMARY OF POSITION : We are
seeking a detail-oriented and proactive hands-on Lead, Warehouse
Selection to support day-to-day outbound fulfillment activities,
including order selection, packing, staging, and shipment
preparation. The Lead will serve as a key point of contact on the
warehouse floor, ensuring orders are processed accurately and
efficiently while supporting team productivity, safety, and quality
standards. This role partners closely with supervisors and
warehouse associates to maintain smooth outbound operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Lead Provide hands-on guidance
and support across outbound functions including picking, packing,
staging, and preparing shipments. Verify outbound orders against
pick tickets, work assignments, and shipping documentation to
ensure accuracy. Help coordinate workflow and prioritize tasks
based on daily shipment volume and timelines. Assist in training
new team members on standard operating procedures and best
practices. Promote and maintain real-time inventory accuracy by
supporting proper documentation and timely updates in the WMS.
Monitor the outbound area for process bottlenecks and escalate
operational concerns or delays to the supervisor. Inspect staged
outbound goods for damage, accuracy, and compliance with order
specifications. Support a safe work environment by promoting proper
equipment usage (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) and adherence to
safety protocols. Assist with routine outbound reporting and
provide status updates to supervisors and managers as needed.
Participate in inventory counts, audits, and reconciliation
activities. Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized outbound
area at all times. POSITION SPECIFICS: Full-time position based in
Goodyear, AZ Standard hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – Until
work is complete. (some flexibility and occasional weekend
availability required). Practical knowledge of order selection,
logistics, inventory control, and warehouse operations. Familiarity
with WMS systems (HighJump preferred) and basic computer skills (MS
Office) Strong leadership, communication, and organizational
skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven
environment. Forklift certification (Reach Truck, Order Selector,
Electric Pallet Jack, Counter-Balanced) preferred. SUPERVISORY
RESPONSIBILITIES: While this is position not a formal supervisory
role, the Lead provides day-to-day task direction and guidance to
outbound associates, ensures adherence to SOPs, and supports
overall operational performance under the direction of a Warehouse
Supervisor or Manager MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma
or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred. 3 years of
experience in a warehouse environment, including at least 1 year in
a lead or team support role. Strong understanding of outbound
logistics processes, inventory control, and warehouse best
practices. Proficient with Warehouse Management Systems (HighJump
preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite. Solid analytical skills and
the ability to interpret data and reports using Excel and other
tools. Familiarity with labor management systems (LMS) and RF
scanning technologies. Lean/Six Sigma experience preferred. Proven
ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Forklift
certification preferred (Reach Truck, Order Selector, Electric
Pallet Jack, Counter-Balanced). Bilingual Spanish a plus. Excellent
attendance and punctuality are expected. PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK
ENVIRONMENT: Candidate must be able to successfully perform the
essential functions of this job with ability to: stand for long
periods of time; ability to become certified (if operating
equipment); constantly move about the warehouse; pulling/pushing a
cart containing cartons; bend/stoop/kneel/crouch to handle product;
regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds; the ability to
communicate information and ideas so others will understand; must
be able to exchange accurate information in these situations; and
the ability to observe details at close range (within a few feed of
the observer). The work environment is often noisy with honking
from passing forklifts and experiences hot/cold temperature
fluctuations due to outside weather. This job specification should
