YOUR TOP RESPONSIBILITIES You will be responsible for coordinating the services provided out of the Hope for Hunger Food Bank. You will open and/or close the center during scheduled food distribution operations You will oversee client intake operations, ensuring accurate use of intake systems and proper documentation of households served. You will oversee the unloading, storage, and tracking of food and Gift-in-Kind (GIK) items. You will manage daily food packing and distribution for both onsite and mobile pantry services. You will partner with churches and community organizations to coordinate and lead mobile pantry distributions, including site scheduling, food preparation and transport, volunteer coordination, and distribution reporting. You will help train, develop, and oversee volunteer workers and work therapy clients. You will help maintain the food bank, ensuring a clean, welcoming, and dignifying place for clients, volunteers, and staff. You will complete administrative tasks including email correspondence, scheduling, data entry, and reporting. You will operate warehouse trucks and forklifts as needed to support food distribution programs, including product pick-ups, deliveries, and mobile pantry logistics. You will lead or participate in devotions, prayers, or other organization activities that promote a credible Christian witness and lifestyle. Requirements WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE High school diploma or GED is required. You have one year of experience coordinating Ministry programs, volunteer management, and/or community events. You have a current Arizona Food Handlers card or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of your start date. You can maintain your composure in stressful situations. You properly exercise discretion for client privacy. You are proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and experience with databases. You have a solid and credible Christian witness and lifestyle that exemplifies Christ in character and actions.
