Job Description Job Description Mechanical Assembler I Location Chandler, AZ | Onsite Compensation & Schedule • $20.00 per hour • Full-time; overtime required on Fridays and Saturdays as needed • W2 employment Role Impact: This role supports safe, precise assembly operations in controlled explosive-handling environments. Success is defined by consistent adherence to procedures, quality workmanship, and the ability to follow detailed instructions under direct supervision. The position provides hands-on training and serves as an entry point for growth within manufacturing operations. • Perform production assembly operations on components and subassemblies under direct supervision • Weigh and press inert and energetic materials using analytical balances and powder presses • Complete inert assembly tasks including minor cabling, potting, tinning, and basic soldering • Install sub-assemblies using drawings, visual aids, and written or verbal instructions • Maintain safe handling practices requiring strong manual dexterity in explosive-handling areas • Ability to work under direct supervision • Ability to understand, speak, read, and write English • 1 year of industry assembly experience or basic soldering experience • Analytical balances and powder press equipment • Hand tools and basic soldering equipment • Explosive-handling work environments requiring strict safety compliance • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Preferred Skills • Prior exposure to explosive or hazardous material handling • Familiarity with J-STD or similar soldering standards • Willingness to attend offsite training to maintain certifications Legal Notice By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from CornerStone and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
