DescriptionSummaryofResponsibilities:The AVP of Titles is responsible for directing and coordinating the Title department in analyzing and evaluating best practices and procedures. AVP of Titles shall lead the internal Title department as well as managing third party vendor relationships operations supporting best in industry customer service.Essential Functions:Leads, develops and consistently measures internal Title Team's production relating to tracking all incoming and outgoing Titles including ensuring that Santander Consumer USA's lien is perfected on all purchased contracts. Leads best practices and staff specific to Title Specialists following up with dealerships on Title paperwork in a timely manner.Develops measurements / control and leads staff in most efficient way to ensure follow-up with various DMV offices on all outstanding title issues.Maintains tight internal and external measurements and controls ensuring adherence on all payoff lien releases.Guides and strengthens external relationships with outside title vendors to ensure all titles are properly received, tracked, stored, and distributed securely and promptly.Supports the vision and directs staff in accordance with the SVP of Customer Service and Executive Management. Continually monitors and improves analytics to identify trends and recommend process improvements to Executive Management as needed. Provides world-class customer service through daily interactions with both internal and external customers; establishes successful working relationships with SC USA personnel, automotive dealerships, vendors, insurance companies and customers.Maintains open lines of communication with Funding, Sales, and Credit by soliciting honest feedback in efforts to maximize customer service.Other Functions:Other duties as assigned.SupervisoryResponsibilities:Manages subordinate managers and professional staff. Is responsible for the strategic guidance, development and evaluation of employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Santander's policies and applicable laws.Requirements:Education -Bachelor's Degreeor equivalent work experienceExperience -5-9 yearsWorking Conditions:Frequently: Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing, and walking.Occasional moving and lifting of equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown.Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.Employer's Rights:This job description does not list all the duties of the job.
