Radio Station Operations Manager/ Morning Show Host JobID: 513 Position Type: Support Staff/ Radio Operations Manager/Morning Show Host Date Posted: 4/20/2021 Location: East Valley Institute of Technology- Main Campus Date Available: 05/17/2021 Closing Date: 06/01/2021 The East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) is a public Career and Technical Education District (CTED) providing tuition-free career and technical education (CTE) programs to high school students - public, charter, and home-schooled - and tuition-based programs to adults who reside in 11 school districts in the East Valley of the Phoenix metropolitan area. EVIT offers over 40 CTE programs at four centralized campuses. Centralized campus programs provide two to four hours of hands-on training every day and prepare students for professional certification and licensing exams. EVIT students who complete their training have a 98 percent high school graduation rate and 90 percent on average are in jobs related to their training, college or the military within a year. Two out of three EVIT students go on to college. Applications are being accepted for the position of Radio Station Operations Manager/ Morning Show Hostwith the East Valley Institute of Technology. The start date is contingent upon completion of paperwork and obtaing an IVP fingerprint clearance card. The beginning salary range for this position is approximately $58,040 - $73,711dependent upon education and like experience. This is a full-time, 12 month position. Hours will be 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday-Friday. Job Summary: Under general supervision the Radio Station Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day management of the station's programming and technical operations. Training and Experience: Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school or equivalent; completion of post-secondary coursework in administrative assistant training; Bachelor's degree in Management, Business or Education preferred. Three (3) years or more of experience in radio station operations Three (3) years or more experience as an on-air radio personality An equivalent combination of education and experience. Licensing /Certification and Other Requirements: Valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Identity Verified Prints (IVP) fingerprint clearance card. Proof of immunization against or immunity to measles and rubella if born after January 1, 1957. The employee hired for this position will work a basic 40-hour workweek. Hours are 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday-Friday.
