Duties include taking responsibility for matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, data entry, and assisting in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). The Accounting Specialist position is a full-time role in the East Valley area. Don't hesitate to apply with Robert Half Finance!Duties: Responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, assisting in monthly billing, and other related accounting or office tasks, including participation in the month-end close. In addition, provide accounting support, by recording and maintaining accurate records of financial transactions for use in the general ledger, cost analysis, and other accounting and finance documents.- AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred - 5+ years of accounting experience required GAAP - 4+ years Full Cycle Accounts Payable (AP) experience - 2+ years Accounts Receivable (AR) experience - Purchase Orders experience preferred - Journal entries experience - Enter Vendor Invoices experience - Well-founded grasp of bank reconciliations - Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required - General familiarity with account reconciliation - Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds - Spreadsheet and ERP system experience required -DOD Contractor experience is a plus
