Credentialing Specialist - Part Time

Nationwide Vision is seeking a part-time Credentialing
Specialist. The Credentialing Specialist is
responsible for following the NCQA guidelines. This candidate must
be extremely motivated,
organized, and proficient in Word and Excel.
We are willing to train a great administrative employee to the
specifics of the job!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the
following. Other duties may be assigned.
Completes provider credentialing for independent providers.
? Maintains credentialing database.
? Checks OIG, Sam's, and licensing websites monthly.
? Reviews, verifies licenses, insurance, education, and work
? Monitors documents that expire for providers.
? Reviews documents and pulls documents from CAQH.
? Other duties as assigned.
? Communicates with providers via e-mail, fax or telephone
? Assist other Credentialing Specialist with credentialing and
? Reviews and enters in patient surveys into a spreadsheet.
? Creates minutes for monthly Credentialing Meeting.
? Updates provider directory.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year
related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of
education and experience.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have
knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Order processing
systems; Payroll systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to
stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift
and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close
vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth
perception and ability to adjust focus.
