Mesa United Way
This program will cover a variety of needs and approach
homelessness from a multi-faceted perspective, including tutoring
homeless and low-income children, providing navigation services to
homeless adults, and assisting seniors at risk of being homeless
with meals and services. Program partners include agencies such as:
Save the Family, Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest, A New
Leaf, 12 Books/Read on Mesa, the Mesa Veterans Resource Center,
Bridging AZ Furniture Bank, Mesa Community College, and other
non-profit agencies in Mesa, AZ. Further help on this page can be

Member Duties : Members will provide assistance and services to
homeless or at-risk individuals and families in Mesa. This will
include navigation services for some agencies, working to assist
homeless people in becoming self-sufficient. This could also
include assisting homeless or extremely low-income children with
tutoring, or assisting seniors at risk of being homeless with
Program Benefits : Education award upon successful completion of
service , Living Allowance , Stipend , Training .
Permits working at another job during off hours , Uniforms
provided and required , Permits attendance at school during off
hours , Car recommended .
