Power Animal Hospital is located in Mesa, AZ. We are a
full-service animal hospital and welcomes both emergency treatment
cases as well as pet patients in need of routine medical, surgical,
and dental care. From the services we offer to the caring

Power Road Animal Hospital! Power Road Animal Hospital is a
six-doctor practice in Mesa, treating dogs and cats. Established in
2010, we have a strong client base with a great reputation in the

years running! We practice excellent quality medicine and have a
strong culture that feels like family. You will have a great
work-life balance with a schedule that does not include Sundays,
overnights or on-call. You will have variety of clients, supporting
both wellness care and daytime emergency for dogs and cats. Your
time and expertise is well-leveraged with a support staff to doctor
ratio of greater than 3:1. Our facility is spacious and features a
large treatment room with in-house lab and pharmacy, digital x-ray
suite with ultrasound, designated surgical suite, designated dental
suite with digital dental x-ray, cold laser therapy, eight exam
rooms and the space to practice medicine appropriately. In addition
to routing surgery, we also offer orthopedic surgery. Our team is
highly trained and friendly. We are professional, but maintain a

DVM that shares our vision! The Veterinarian is responsible for
providing high quality care to our patients while also developing
rapport with their owners. In addition to physical examinations,
surgeries, and dentistry, client communication and client education
are of the upmost importance. It s important that our Veterinarians
treat each pet and client like part of the family. We are looking
for someone full time or part time, and are open to mentoring a new
grad or supporting an experienced vet in your career growth.
Description Develop a rapport with clients and determine their
needs and wishes; perform physical examinations and
diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures in a way that will
deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress
and discomfort.Explain physical examination findings and
communicate to the client a diagnosis of the pet s problems;
generate and present a treatment plan for the pet to the client;
educate clients on preventative health care, including vaccines and
appropriate nutritional products.Maintain client/patient
medical/surgical records and make certain all necessary logs are
kept up-to-date through established protocols; assist colleagues in
follow-up and future management of the patient.Stay up-to-date with
new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine, attend
Continuing Education meetings.Assist in the development of the
paraprofessional team to ensure the delivery of the highest quality
care and exceptional client service.Positively represent the
hospital in the professional community and to the general
public.Treat every client like family and each patient like your
own pet. Requirements Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
from an accredited universityLicensure in good standing to practice
in the state of in which applicant is applyingProfessional
comportment and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and
a positive, friendly attitudeThe ability to make decisions and
communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team membersRespect
