COMPANY MISSION STATEMENT: Provide a loving safe environment for our 4-legged clients while simultaneously providing a convenient and socially engaging environment for our 2-legged
clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Interact with dogs using appropriate behavior and tools to ensure safe levels of play while minimizing stress levels of all dogs. Ensure cleanliness and safety of
playroom at all times.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
--- Playroom Management
--- Maintain visual observation of dogs at all times, spreading attention and play
among all dogs. Keep moving through playroom.
--- Control level of play by following dog management and control as instructed by
shift lead. Use proper dog handling techniques, praise and correction methods.
--- Ensure you know all dogs in the playgroup. Report any unusual behavior or
injuries to your lead. Report any concerns on new dogs immediately.
--- Communicate with staff regarding any special instructions, behavioral issues or
concerns prior to leaving for break or end of shift change.
--- Present Turnovers to ensure the shift is properly looked over.
--- Cleaning Duties
--- Maintain a clean playroom at all times by scooping or mopping up dog waste
immediately.
--- Maintain clean mop buckets, interchange them frequently throughout shift or as
needed. Assist with other cleaning duties as asked.
--- Keep track of "going home" baths
SECONDARY DUTIES
--- Feeding: Prep and feed dogs according to daily report. Document eating habits and
send email and Infusionsoft reports as needed.
--- Social Media Support: Capture photos and make videos of playgroup throughout day.
--- Customer Service: Answer phone and place on hold. Greet customers and assist with
check-in/check-out procedures
