Job Description Qualifications:
The Boeing Company is an authorized Skillbridge Program under the Department of Defense (DoD) Instruction 1322.29 to support transitioning our Service Members into the civilian workforce and deliver training, development and employment opportunities during the last 180 days of service. • Service members of any rank, both enlisted or officer may apply to internship for entry to mid-level positions. Senior levels are considered based on candidate's applicable industry and military transferable experience. Participants are not eligible for compensation from Boeing while on active duty and continue to receive military compensation and benefits.
• Qualified candidates are matched and interviewed for specific roles and locations based off of business requirements to gain first-hand experience and insight into aerospace and defense business. Selected active duty US military members will perform in highly skilled roles prior to transitioning out of the military while on active duty to bridge the gap between valuable military service and civilian work experience through specific industry training with an industry partner during final 6 months of active duty service.

  • Ability to apply your military experience to meaningful projects while developing skills in business acumen, data analytics, financial analysis, strategy and operations. Areas of Interests: Information Technology and Cyber Security
    Skillbridge Information Technology- Cyber Security responsibilities may include:
    Security - Ensures compliance with government and company regulations and requirements through performance of compliance assessment reviews, self-inspections, administrative inquiries and physical security, sub-contractor management and communication security duties. Manages or works in multiple disciplines which may include industrial security operations, fire protection operations, uniformed security operations, fire protection engineering, investigations, access administration, emergency preparedness, automated-information security systems, education and training and special projects
    Intelligence - Manages and integrates activities across Intelligence analysis disciplines including geospatial plans, designs, development and analysis; imagery intelligence reporting and analysis; linguistic review, analysis and reporting; all-source analytic research, training and reporting; analytic methodology development, training and application; employment of various analytic capabilities. Plans, designs, develops, documents and analyzes spatial and relational databases. Designs, analyzes and develops geospatial solutions and product specifications for infrastructure, hydrographic and physiographic features for global geospatial images and vector products.
    DoD Skillbridge Internship Eligible Applicants - Active Duty US Military Only with Honorable discharge prior to internship start date and Command approval to participate
    TEMPORARY ROLE: Not to exceed 180 days
    This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. - 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
    • Served at least 180 continuous days on active duty
    • Within 12 months of separation or retirement from the military
    • Able to start 180 days prior to separation or retirement from active duty Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
      • Bachelor's degree and/or demonstrated equivalency +4 years of relevant experience
      • Graduate degree in related discipline from an accredited college or university
        • Active Security clearance
