Responsibilities

• Acknowledgments and proofs (not for documents affecting real property).
  
• Take oaths and affirmations, affidavits, and perform depositions.
  
• Certify copies of powers of attorney and notarial record book entries (requested by the Secretary of State or by a court).
  
  Qualifications and Skills
  

• 
  
• MUST be a U.S. citizen.
  
• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
• Notary Public certification and successful background check.
  
• Experience in notarizing loan documents.
  
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  
• Ability to work well with others and strong reading comprehension skills.
  
• Flexibility in scheduling notarizations; exhibit empathy when working with sensitive documents and clients.
