ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
LINE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
The Line Maintenance Technician provides ground handling and minor
line maintenance services for the aircraft fleet. Line Maintenance
Technicians wear many different hats such as parking and servicing
the aircrafts as well as maintaining our aircraft to meet the high
standards of our customer base. Line Maintenance Technician must be
an exceptional relationship builder with the drive to provide
world-class customer service with respect to activities on the ramp
and interfaces with customers, pilots, passengers, senior staff and
regulatory agencies. Individuals with good mechanical skills and
who have a strong understanding of the tooling, methods, and
techniques required to maintain aircraft. Adheres to department
procedures and regulations in servicing, repairing and maintaining
aircraft, aircraft engines and aircraft records to ensure
airworthiness. The company fleet consists of: DA20, DA40, DA42,
Piper Archer, Arrow, and Seminole.
Perform Line Maintenance consisting of quick turn maintenance
Servicing General Aviation aircraft; minor maintenance, checking
fluid levels, maintaining inventory and security of Aircraft.
Cleans and keeps in an orderly condition aircraft and work
Ensuring proper completion and security of aircraft records.
Read and follow work instructions or receive oral instructions to
determine work assignments and material and equipment needs. Record
numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets
or work tickets.
Minimum of 6 Months experience as an A&P with current A&P
Have the ability to use tools (hand, power and air tools)
Regular attendance and punctuality
Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond
on short notice
Working knowledge of Company manuals
Well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
Be willing to work Overtime when needed (heavy at times)
Be able to learn aerospace (FAA) regulations that pertain to
Knowledge of Maintenance & Engineering systems
Ability to work well with others and complete tasks with
Ability to multi task and work under pressure in a dynamic
Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Computer and other office equipment
Issued reflective safety vest and ear protection
Ability to use handheld two way radios, headsets and/or phone
Position requires extremely strenuous physical work involving
objects in excess of 100 pounds occasionally and/or in excess of 50
pounds frequently. Position requires crawling, bending, kneeling,
climbing, and stooping frequently in confined spaces. (Very
High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)
Able to drive tugs, trucks, taxi aircraft or other company
Ability to communication effectively; in both oral and written
Ability to crawl, bend, kneel, climb, and stoop frequently in
Possess and maintain a valid Drivers License and a driving record
from the state of your primary residence that meets CAE Oxford
Aviation Academy insurance standards.
