Requirements:

Bachelor's degree
7+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree or 5+ years of experience with an advanced degree
Strong experience with the SAP GTS (Global Trade Services) module

Additional Preferred Requirements:

Experience in business process definition, business process improvement, requirements gathering and definition, and technology solution research
Assist with and ensure compliance to Data Governance standards and data policies
Ability to write conversion specifications, functional specifications, and technical specifications for adding functionality or enhancements
Experience in sophisticated testing methodologies (Unit test, Integration Testing, Interface Testing, Volume, UAT, Regression) using Quality Center
Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or business-related discipline
Comprehensive understanding of complex software and information technology solutions and ability to apply to client needs
Good analytical and problem-solving skills in issue resolution and integration aspects like interfaces and cross module transactional data
Experience in facilitating small to large groups through challenging discussions

Job Description:

Responsible for the successful implementation of enhancements related to the SAP GTS (Global Trade Services) module within the Regulatory process area. Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations such as FDA 21CFR, ISO13485 and EU MDR. Accountable for all project life cycle phases, with emphasis on translating user requirements into functional specifications for any associated Reporting, Data Conversion, Data Mapping, Interfaces, Integration, Enhancements, and Process design needs
Work independently with end-users and business partners to assess the business customer requirements, match these requirements to objectives, processes and products including developing specifications and enhancements that will achieve the customers and business goals
Work with the technical team to effectively translate the functional specs into technical specifications and solutions
Create and execute functional test scripts
Work with the testing team to effectively complete system testing
Responsible for working with the end users to perform user acceptance testing
Maintain documentation, including solution, functional specification, and test scripts
Plan, develop, and implement advanced concepts, techniques, and standards that support the strategic objectives of the program
Ensure proper validation documentation is created for all projects (i.e. MSCM)
Provide detailed functional knowledge and maintain insight to current industry best practices and how they can be applied to Medtronic
Ensure that Medtronic's systems and the information on them are protected in accordance with Medtronic's Information Protection Policies and Standards, as well as best Information Protection practices
