Job Description:

Our Auto Repair shop team is rapidly expanding, and we are currently looking for a new automotive technician to join our service center. The ideal candidate will be eager to diagnose and facilitate automotive repairs using our automotive computer software, and their electrical systems expertise. Responsibilities:

Determine and investigate any malfunction codes in the vehicle's integrated diagnostic system using skilled expertise and diagnostic tools
Establish processes for tracking diagnostics and system repairs, maintaining up-to-date manufacturer specifications, and more
Clearly articulate automotive repair issues and repairs needed to remedy them to both customers and auto mechanics

Apply a checklist-based approach to ensure a comprehensive examination of all vehicle systems, including the engine, air conditioning, transmission, and brake systems
Perform routine maintenance, as needed, like checking fluid levels, rotating tires, and oil changes
--- Maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications:

GED or high school diploma is mandatory
ASE certification or comparable standard service technician credential, such as SAE, is attractive
Automotive service technology training program completion or equivalent years of experience is required; associates degree is a bonus
Excellent customer service and communications skills are necessary
--- Must have 5+ years of experience
