Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
Salary: $65,000

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:

• B.S/B.A preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent demonstrable work experience Experience:
  • 2+ years of SQL Server experience
  • 3+ years of technical expertise in an enterprise environment
  • Experience delivering and/or authoring technical training.
  • Experience in the Healthcare Industry and with Healthcare Applications (NextGen preferable).
  • Knowledge of SSIS/SSAS/SSRS/Power BI technologies with a deep understanding of data structure, data models to design, develop, and tune BI solutions and reports.
  • Knowledge of Advanced data analytics: designing and building solutions using technologies such as Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, HD Insights. SQL, DW, Stream Analytics, Machine learning, R Server.
  • Technical knowledge and experience:
    • Database administration (preferably with SQL, including Azure SQL) performance tuning and optimization, troubleshooting, high availability, disaster recovery, security.

      • Will work closely with the Director of Informatics, Data Team, Applications Team, Leadership, Program Staff. and IT to turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions.
      • Will build an understanding of the business at a level of detail that enables them to identify and address critical issues.
      • Must provide data that is accurate, congruent and reliable, and ensure the information is easily available and intuitive to user for direct consumption or integration with other systems.
      • Will educate and train staff to use the data as an analytical tool, displaying the information in new forms and content for the purpose of analysis and option exploration.
      • Will work with the Director of Informatics, Data Team, Applications Team, Leadership, Program Staff, and IT to determine business reporting requirements, priorities, outcomes, and develop a data warehouse strategy. This includes working with business and development teams to design, and document dashboards, alerts, and reports.
      • Will be accountable for providing leadership and independent initiatives in facilitating information gathering, structured documentation and presentation of findings to all levels of management.
      • Will conduct analysis of functional business processes and functional business requirements and participate in the development of business cases in the support of process changes and/or data projects.
      • Must Understand how data is turned into actionable information and knowledge and how that knowledge supports and enables key business processes.
      • Must have an in-depth understanding of the business environment and an interest in going beyond the obvious, delving into the source, the definition, philosophy, and foundational roots of a data element in order to create usable information.
      • Must work well within a team environment. (This position is located in the Phoenix Arizona metropolitan area and does not offer remote work outside of the area. Relocation assistance will not be provided.)
