interest as well.We are seeking a Inside Sales Manager to join our
lean and agile team in our Mesa, Arizona Plant. This role reports
to the Director of Retail Sales. This role will oversee and manage
the inside sales team to align EMV's mission and vision to set
clear goals through company best practices and processes . A
successful candidate will manage a growing team, ensuring employee
development is a priority.General Requirements
- Lead a team that aligns with EMVs mission and vision through
current sales strategies.
- Set a clear vision and goals for the sales team to achieve
targeted performance in new vehicle sales.
- Engage and motivate the team to achieve key goals, performance
expectations and EMV best practices/processes.
- Drive the business through a high-level of involvement in the
day-to-day operations.
- Ensure leads are handled timely, answering questions, providing
information, and ideally settling an appointment to test
drives.
- Ensures all employees provide the best possible consumer
experience to every customer.
- Manages customer escalations and concerns quickly and
effectively.
- Manage the follow-up with leads to assist them as needed
through their research phase until ready for vehicle purchase.
- Ensure customers are transitioned effectively from phone and
internet contact to their in-store experience and delivery.
- Managing the negotiation process with Retail/Fleet sales
ensuring that customers understand their vehicle purchase options
and pricing.
- Manage all 3 areas of customer traffic - retail/fleet
showrooms, e-commerce, and phone/email/form submission.
- Assisting in managing controllable expense elements.
- Analyze the business to determine shortfalls and developing
action plans to improve performance.Team Management
- Recruit, train, and develop the showroom and sales teams to
maximize company output.
- Consistently evaluate the performance of each employee to
ensure company targets are met.
- Teach sales best practices to staff, including the right
behaviors and sales tactics.
- Ensure all team members adhere to ElectraMeccanica policies and
communicates concerns effectively to human resources.
- Empower employees to make decisions that are in the consumer's
best interests, guide them through difficult decisions.Other
- Other ancillary duties as occasionally required by your
manager.Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in business or similar field is required
for this role.
- 5+ years of Sales Management experience, preferably in retail
or automotive.
- Experience in the automotive industry (specifically sales) is
considered an asset for this role.
- High Level of Computer Literacy (including spreadsheets).
- Team player - comfortable consistently working with multiple
teams.
- Exhibits great leadership and coaching skills.
- Results-oriented - dedicated to an ethical approach to sales
and sales operations.
- Self-starter - drive to develop effective processes and take
initiative.
- Possesses a valid driver's license.
- High Level of Computer Literacy (including spreadsheets).
- Excellent Verbal & Written communication skills - builds
effective relationships across departments.
- Innovative and creative - loves building in the abstract and
working without procedures.
- Initiative to develop and implement process improvements.
Continuous improvement outlook.
