Cognizant, a Fortune 200 corporation, is piloting a new program:
Event Response Team, and we are seeking dynamic Associates to help
spearhead this pilot.
As part of the Event Response Team, you are on the front lines
responding highly volatile, catastrophic events such as natural
disasters, automobile accidents, or other potentially
life-threatening events.
Project Overview
This role will support the development and execution of an Event
Response Team. This team will monitor and report metrics and
perform Root Cause Analysis and Retrospectives.
The 3 R's of Responsibilities
Respond - First point of contact for all Event Response and
Business Continuity concerns, following current process and
maintaining established operating processes.
Resolve - Build a resolution of the critical events following
procedures, based on the event severity.
Report - Collect inputs from various sources to develop reports to
key partners and update internal / external systems.
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
Event Response Management - Day to day activities related to
responding and resolving important events, answering calls/chats
and reporting the resolution.
Monitor social media and alert potential complaints using internal
tools; report any risks or trends to internal customers
Various Project Management tasks related to process development,
optimization, ad hoc work crafting documents, presentations,
spreadsheets.
Required Skills/Qualifications
Core requirements
Education- undergraduate degree preferred or proven experience in
auto, aviation and/or emergency services industry (ex: 911 or other
active dispatcher)
Ability to remain calm under stressful situations
Organized, data-driven, strategically focused and with ability to
multitask and a bias for action.
Able to adhere to a rigid schedule of operating times for the
assigned shift ...including, but not limited to, working on
holidays, weekends and shift rotations and overtime when needed.
May be asked to support overnight shifts.
Adaptable to a constantly evolving and new environment and able to
consistently achieve goals despite ambiguity.
Ability to proactively identify problems and issues then assist
with the creation, programs and procedures to tackle them.
Time management skills
Able to prioritize tasks based on severity and urgency
Preferred Qualifications: (Skills that would be nice to have but
are not required for consideration)
Experience and proficiency with GSuite, Incident Management
Systems
Prior experience in call center
Experience with enterprise social media monitoring
