Job Description:
Waste Connections is seeking a motivated and customer-focused
Roll Off/Construction Waste Sales Representative to join our
dynamic sales team. We are a leading integrated waste services
company providing comprehensive waste management solutions
including residential, commercial, and industrial services to our
valued customers. As a Sales Representative, you will be pivotal in
expanding our market presence and contributing to the overall
growth and success of our company by targeting and securing new
business within the construction and demolition waste sector.
Develop new business opportunities with potential clients in the
construction and waste management sector Manage all stages of the
sales cycle including identifying potential clients, delivering
presentations, negotiating contracts, and closing sales Maintain a
thorough knowledge of industry regulations, competitive offerings
and market trends to effectively position Waste Connections'
services Coordinate with customer service and operations teams to
ensure exceptional service delivery Achieve and exceed monthly and
annual sales targets while maintaining a high level of customer
satisfaction Participate in trade shows, industry events, and
professional associations to foster networking and enhance business
opportunities Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management,
detailing sales activities, revenue achievements, and market
analysis Strong negotiation and closing skills Effective
communication and interpersonal skills Ability to develop strategic
sales plans and proposals Knowledge of CRM software and tools for
sales tracking and customer management Understanding of
construction or waste management industries and their regulatory
environments Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Certified Sales Professional (CSP) or
equivalent preferred Training in safe waste management practices or
OSHA safety regulations is beneficial
